About the Association 

The Goiás Association of People Affected by Chagas Disease is a phylanthropic entity that helps Chagas patients in the state of Goiás. The organization was founded on 14 April 2021, World Chagas Disease Day, by the Chagas Disease Study Center (NEDOHC) of the Hospital das Clínicas of UFG/Ebserh and by representatives of the State Secretary’s Office of Health of Goiás (SES-GO) and of the municipal government of Alexânia-GO.
