Services provided: 

Casa de Chagas offers pacemakers, comprehensive, hierarchical and decentralized care to people with Chagas disease, heart failure and arrhythmias.

Everything is done within a biopsychosocial vision, in the light of teaching, research and extension, offering the patient multidisciplinary care, carrying out diagnostic investigation tests for Chagas disease, as well as complementary tests, providing access to clinical treatment (etiological and symptomatic), pacemaker implantation and/or cardioverter-defibrillator, when necessary.

At the same time, Casa de Chagas also advises on the epidemiological evaluation of other cases in the family, social security issues, merito-labor issues and in special situations such as pregnancy, exercise, sexuality and the permanent impediment to donating blood and organs and tissues.
